"Where flowers bloom, so does hope"-Lady Bird Johnson

I think this is especially true with native plant gardening. Because native plants support pollinators, songbirds, and other wildlife, there's hope that by creating green spaces, we can help to preserve our ever shrinking natural environment. There's nothing more satisfying than seeing the native bees and butterflies gathering nectar from the flowers in summer, and the song birds eating the seed heads and berries in winter. If we all plant a native garden, no matter how big or small, it will make a difference.
